Hale Maluhia Country Inn (house of peace) was built by the owner over 40 years to enjoy that great feeling of a peaceful Eden. The Inn focuses on Peace and Comfort and is not at all fussy. The Inn does have a music room with a grand piano but then it also has a very laid back Library with a public computer, books and the peaceful stuff. This is an Hawaiian Country Inn Estate in the style of an old historical Hawaiian Plantation House with reasonable prices, exceptional food and sage advice in the Kona Coffee Country. With Big old Trees, Good beds, Private baths, Breakfast Lovers Buffet and Omelet Bar w/bird watching. Japanese stone/tile Ofuro (jetted hot tub), Broad Band Wireless, Cable and free movie library. Comfortable, Private and Secluded Gracious Living at very reasonable prices. The Holualoa Kona Coffee/Art Community is just minutes away on up our Hualalai Road. Kailua-Kona was and is the heart of the Big Island of Hawaii. One of the best of the 14 world climates. Kona was the favorite place of the old Alii (kings and queens) to live. Kona enjoys the very best touch of aloha from historical ethos of the Hawaiian Islands. Need we say more. It takes a little over 5 hours to completely circle the Big Island of Hawaii. Hilo is the wettest city in the U.S. and the Tropical Rain forest at the volcano get over 200" of rain per year and at 4,000' can be cold and windy. Need to check with the satellite images prior to exploring these area. |
