The one mile drive to your cottage views one of the tallest mountains on earth, the world famous Mauna Kea, snow-capped mid November - January, and sometimes till May.
Volcano Hapu'u Fern Cottage is located in the historical Volcano Village, which is also a sanctuary for the native Hawaiian birds.
